Itinerary

Day 1Thiruvananthapuram Arrival | Local Sightseeing | Overnight Stay at Thiruvananthapuram

  • Arrive Thiruvananthapuram airport/railway station, where you will be greeted by our driver/representative.
  • Later check in at the Hotel/Resort and spend some time at leisure.
  • Start your day 1 by visiting the Napier Museum. This art and natural history museum are one of the top attractions in the city. Set inside a 19th-century building, this museum houses many archaeological and historical artefacts. The museum closes by 04:30 p.m.
  • After exploring the museum at your own pace, later in the evening  head to the Kanakakkunnu Palace. This old royal palace is open to the visitors who can explore its beautiful interiors and lush gardens. 
  • Later in the evening head towards Kovalam beach for a breezy evening along the shore. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters.
  • Head back to the Hotel/Resort for the nights sleep.

Day 2Thiruvananthapuram Local Sightseeing | Transfer to Kanyakumari | Kanyakumari Local Sightseeing | Overnight Stay at Kanyakumari

  • After breakfast you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of Thiruvananthapuram Zoo. Note: Mondays the zoo is closed.
  • After some wonderful sighting experience in the zoo, we head towards one of India’s top temple, the Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Built in 1729, this temple complex features a towering gateway and is dedicated to Padmanabha. 
  • Later in the day, we head for a 3 hr drive towards Kanyakumari – a charming coastal town in Tamil Nadu is southernmost tip of India. This is a land of lush green paddy fields where streets and beaches are lined with coconut trees. It is also popular as the land of temples and churches.
  • Reach Kanyakumari  and check in at the Hotel/Resort and spend some time at leisure.
  • Later head towards Vattakottai Fort – A coastal fort, Vattakottai Fort is built in 18th century during the reign of Travancore kingdom. It is undeniably one of the popular sightseeing places in Kanyakumari. Constructed for the purpose of coastal defense, this fort was the last seaside fort that was built by Travancore kingdom.
  • After that head towards the Kanyakumari Sunset Point. You will fall in love with an evening sky painted with vibrant shades of orange, red, and golden. 
  • Later head back to the Resort/Hotel.
  • Overnight stay at hotel after Dinner.

Day 3Kanyakumari Local Sightseeing | Transfer to Varkala | Varkala Local Sightseeing | Overnight Stay at Varkala

  • You wake up early in the morning to get a glimpse of Sunrise. 
  • Later return back to the Resort/Hotel and have your Breakfast.
  • After spending some time in leisure, visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thrivalluvar Statue.
  • After these mystic scenes we check out from the resort and head towards Varkala on a four hour drive. Varkala is a coastal town in the southern part of Kerala known for the unique 15m high ‘Northern Cliff’ adjacent to the Arabian Sea. It is popular for its hippie culture, shacks on the cliff serving great seafood and playing global music.
  • Check-in at the Resort/Hotel and spend some time at leisure. 
  • In the evening, we shall explore the several awesome little cafes set on the cliff. For the book lovers, there is a wonderful book shop right on the cliff overlooking the sea and for the shopping enthusiasts, Varkala market offers many options from rare stones, artefacts, magnets to interesting collection in the Tibetan market.
  • Overnight stay in Varkala.

Day 4Varkala Local Sightseeing | Transfer to Allepey | Overnight Stay at Alleppey

  • Wake up early in the morning go for sunrise boating and enjoy the magical beach and you can also go for Surfing in Varkala beach.
  • Head back to hotel and have your breakfast and checkout after some leisure time.
  • After that you will visit Jatayu’s Earth Center which is a 1 hour drive from the hotel. Here you can soar through the skies in an ultra-modern cable facility imported from Switzerland. Such a visual experience is a novelty in India. An experience which allows you to glide through the sky like a bird that awaits you here which is the biggest concrete bird statue in the world crafted and completed by the sculptor and film maker, Rajiv Anchal. It is 200 feet long, 150 feet wide and 75 feet tall.
  • Later head towards Alleppey on 3 hr long Journey. Alleppey is famous for backwaters and houseboat cruises. Which will give you glimpse of green paddy fields, pleasing avifauna.
  •  Check-in at the Resort/Hotel and spend the day at leisure or make a trip through the best possible canals in Alleppey.
  • Overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day 5Transfer to Thekkady | Thekkady Local Sightseeing | Overnight Stay At Thekkady

  • After Breakfast, you check out from the hotel and transfer to Thekkady which is set in the heart of the Cardamom Hills of Kerala is Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve, offering a rare opportunity to enjoy South India’s wildlife. 
  • Alleppey to Thekkady is a 4hr drive. 
  • Arrive at the hotel and check in following which you can refresh and spend some time at leisure.
  • Later in the afternoon, around 1:30 pm head for the boat ride on the Lake Periyar where one can have a unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. Following which you return back to Hotel.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 6Transfer to Munnar | Munnar Local Sightseeing | Overnight Stay At Munnar

  • You wake up early in the morning to have the breakfast and move on to the next destination.
  • You transfer to Munnar on a 4 hrs drive, one of the most popular hill stations in southern India known for its sprawling tea gardens. 
  • Enjoy the scenic beauty & the Cheeyappara waterfalls, mountains with low flying clouds which sometimes are at the same level and you pass through the clouds.
  • Check-in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure. 
  • Overnight stay at Munnar after Dinner.

Day 7 Munnar Local Sightseeing | Overnight Stay At Munnar

  • Wake up and After breakfast you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of the picturesque Mattupettu Dam, where you have an opportunity to go boating, witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, and further to Echo Point.
  • Also visit Top Station, Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park), Shooting point , Eco Point , Kundale Lake , Tea Museum etc. After sightseeing you finish off your dinner and head back to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 8 Transfer to Athirappilly | Athirappilly Falls | Overnight Stay At Athirappilly

  • Post breakfast, we set on a 4hr drive towards Athirappilly.
  • Athirappilly Waterfall is largest waterfall of Kerala and also call “The Naigara of India”. It is surrounded by a dense Vazhachal Forest Which is one of the best bio-diversity hotspots in Kerala. 
  • Check-in at the Resort/Hotel and spend some time at leisure.
  • Later visit the falls and have some glorious time.
  • After visiting the falls back to hotel and spend the evening at your own pace.
  • Overnight stay at Resort/Hotel after Dinner.

Day 9 Transfer to Kochi | Kochi Local Sightseeing | Overnight Stay At Kochi

  • You wake up early in the morning to have the breakfast and move on to the next destination – Kochi.
  • After a 4hr drive you reach Kochi – a major port city on the south-west coast of India by the Laccadive Sea.
  • Check in at the Resort/Hotel and then after some leisure time you proceed to the sightseeing of Kochi.
  • Here you will see the oldest Church of India – St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace – built by Portuguese and in evening go for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Kochi Resort/Hotel.

Day 10Kochi Local Sightseeing | Departure

  • After breakfast you will proceed on a sightseeing tour to visit Fort Kochi which is known for its Dutch, Portuguese and British colonial architecture.
  • Later, you checkout of hotel it will be the time to bid adieu to God’s own country! With great memories you shall set on the road-trip early morning to Trivandrum. 
  • Tour ends with an ever lasting memory of the trip.
